Founded in Phoenix, Arizona
We are a small team rooted in the Phoenix metro area with one driving belief: that navigating Arizona's legal landscape should not require a law degree or a four-figure retainer. Every document we deliver is a step toward closing that gap, for families in South Mountain, entrepreneurs in Tempe, and landlords in Scottsdale alike.
Our Story
The Legal Pass was not born in a boardroom. It started with a phone call, a family member in Phoenix trying to protect their small business, handed a $1,400 attorney invoice for a document drafted in under an hour. That moment became a question we could not let go of: why does basic legal protection cost more than a month of groceries?
We spent two years inside Arizona's legal ecosystem, speaking with attorneys in Downtown Phoenix, with landlords in Gilbert, with restaurant owners along Camelback Road, mapping exactly where affordable legal help broke down. The answer was always the same: the document itself was simple; the hourly rate was not.
So we built the bridge. Working alongside licensed Arizona attorneys, we created a library of state-compliant templates, reviewed them against current Arizona Revised Statutes, and connected them to the most trusted legal-tech platforms available, so that the same document quality a Scottsdale corporation receives is within reach of every Arizonan.
"No Arizona resident should have to choose between protecting their business and paying rent. Legal documents are a right, not a luxury."
Our Mission
To bridge the gap between complex Arizona law and affordable document preparation, giving Phoenix residents, small business owners, landlords, and families the legal foundation they deserve, without the overhead of traditional attorney billing.
The People Behind It
We are document-preparation specialists, legal researchers, and community advocates who live and work across the Valley of the Sun. We are not attorneys, which means we are not billing you by the hour.

How We Got Here
Our founders watched a family member pay $1,200 in attorney fees for a simple LLC operating agreement, a document that took the attorney 20 minutes to generate. The gap between what Arizonans needed and what they could afford was undeniable.
We partnered with a network of Arizona-licensed attorneys to draft, review, and stress-test every document template against current state statutes. No shortcuts. No out-of-state boilerplate.
The Legal Pass launched in Phoenix with a curated library of 30 documents and affiliate relationships with leading legal-tech platforms. Within six months, over 2,000 Arizona residents had accessed professional legal documents for the first time.
We expanded coverage to Tucson, Flagstaff, and rural Arizona communities, populations historically underserved by traditional legal services. Our partner network grew to include national platforms reaching millions of users.
Today The Legal Pass serves thousands of Phoenix-area residents and businesses monthly. We remain independently focused on one goal: making professional-grade legal documents accessible to every Arizonan, regardless of income.
What We Stand For
Every template is drafted by a licensed Arizona attorney and reviewed annually against current statutes. We never publish a document we would not use ourselves.
Our affiliate relationships are built on trust and transparency. We recommend platforms we have vetted, and we share honest assessments with every user.
Legal protection should not be a luxury. We price our service so that a Phoenix restaurant owner and a Scottsdale law firm have access to the same quality documents.
We collect only what we need: your email and document choice. We do not sell data, we do not build profiles, and we do not share information with third parties.
