By accessing or using the website located at hesspass.com (the "Site") or any services offered by The Legal Pass ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Site.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone else who accesses or uses the Site. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

We are a document preparation and referral service. We help users locate, understand, and access document templates and affiliated legal-services platforms. We do not draft custom legal documents, represent you in any legal proceeding, or advocate on your behalf in any legal matter.

3. Description of Services

The Legal Pass provides the following services:

  • Document Information & Education: We publish articles, guides, and FAQs to help users understand common legal documents and processes. This content is educational, not legal advice.

  • Document Template Access: We connect users with affiliated platforms that offer self-service legal document templates. These templates are created by third-party providers, not by The Legal Pass.

  • Referral & Affiliate Links: We earn compensation when users click on our affiliate links and complete transactions on partner platforms. See Section 8 for full disclosure.

  • Document Preparation Assistance: We may assist users in completing intake forms or questionnaires that are then submitted to a partner platform. We do not review completed documents for legal sufficiency.

    • All document preparation services provided by or through this Site are performed by non-attorney document preparers or automated software. None of these services constitute the practice of law.

    4. Eligibility

    You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Site or any of its services. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old, that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and that you are a resident of the United States.

    If you are accessing the Site on behalf of a business entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and references to "you" in these Terms include that entity.

    We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel orders at our sole discretion, including if we believe that a user is under 18 or is in violation of these Terms.

    You may use this Site for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. You are permitted to:

  • Access document templates through affiliated platforms via the links we provide
  • Submit inquiries or contact forms to reach our team

    8. Affiliate Relationships & Compensation

    The Legal Pass participates in affiliate marketing programs. We earn a commission when you click on certain links on this Site and complete a qualifying purchase or registration on a partner platform. This compensation does not affect our editorial independence — we only recommend platforms we have independently reviewed and believe may be useful to our users.

    In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) guidelines on endorsements and testimonials, we disclose:

    TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE LEGAL PASS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
  • Warranties that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components
  • Warranties as to the accuracy, completeness, or currentness of any content on the Site
  • Warranties that any document template will be legally sufficient for your specific situation or jurisdiction

    • Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so the above exclusions may not apply to you.

    TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE LEGAL PASS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, PARTNERS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities
  • Personal injury or property damage
  • Unauthorized access to or use of our servers or personal information stored therein
  • Any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content
  • Interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Site
  • Any legal outcome resulting from use of a document obtained through this Site

    • IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SITE EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00), EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

    You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Legal Pass, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your use of the Site or its content
  • Your use of any document or template obtained through or linked from this Site
  • Any legal dispute arising from a document or transaction facilitated by or through this Site
  • Your violation of any third party's rights, including intellectual property rights or privacy rights

    • 13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

    These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them or the Site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

    Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to the laying of venue of any such proceeding in Maricopa County, Arizona.

    You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class or representative action. If for any reason a dispute proceeds in court, neither you nor The Legal Pass will participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration for any claims covered by these Terms.

    WAIVER OF JURY TRIAL: YOU AND THE LEGAL PASS EACH WAIVE ANY CONSTITUTIONAL AND STATUTORY RIGHTS TO SUE IN COURT AND HAVE A TRIAL IN FRONT OF A JUDGE OR A JURY WITH RESPECT TO DISPUTES COVERED BY THESE TERMS.

    14. Modifications to Terms

    We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, at our sole discretion. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by posting a prominent notice on the Site.

    Your continued use of the Site after any modification to these Terms constitutes your binding acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with any changes, you must stop using the Site immediately. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for updates.

    15. General Provisions

  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Legal Pass regarding your use of the Site and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

  • No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

  • Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights granted herein without our prior written consent. We may freely assign our rights under these Terms.

  • Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations where such failure results from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including mechanical, electronic, or communications failure.
